Bossa Gringos - A Truly fabulous Latin Flavoured Quintet
The Bossa Gringos have take two melodic handfuls of classic Bossa Nova style pieces and make them their own to create truly joyful jazz performance - Bossa Nova style! What’s unusual about the band is that they have two bassist’s (Paul Jefferies (double bass) and Raph Mizuraki (bass guitar) plus the brilliant Ukrainian saxophonist Anatoliy Vyechaslavov, critically acclaimed guitarist Hugh Turner and one of the UK’s finest percussionists - Keith Fairburn. Paul, Raph and Toliy also play percussion. Uplifting, virtuosic music augmented by a host of musical / instrumental surprises!

Tom Kincaid Quartet
Virtuoso jazz pianist TOM KINCAID will be back with us to create a show that features the music of three of the most popular jazz music composers of all time - clarinettists Benny Goodman, composer extraordinaire George Gershwin and perhaps one of the greatest pianists to have lived, Errol Garner. Ben will be back on stage playing violin and singing and this superbly entertaining pairing will be joined by a bassist and drummer to be announced. But rest assured you’ll love them all…

Alan Barnes Band
We are super excited to be welcoming the immensely popular Saxophonist / Clarinettist ALAN BARNES to Moreton Jazz for the first time. Alan is a multi-award winning instrumentalist, record label owner and composer and as well as being recognised for brilliant jazz playing, he is one of the finniest men in jazz today. So wether you love comedy or great straight ahead jazz or both, you shouldn’t miss this concert. Tom Berge plays piano, Charlie Stratford plays drums and Paul Jefferies plays bass.
